We are now looking for a Head of Group Accounting to lead and further develop our Nordic accounting function. This is a key leadership role within Finance & Operations, reporting directly to the Group CFO and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the Nordic organisation.

Based at our headquarters in Malmö, you will lead an experienced accounting team while holding overall responsibility for accounting, financial reporting and statutory compliance across our Nordic legal entities.

ABOUT THE ROLE
As Head of Group Accounting, you will play a central role in ensuring high-quality financial reporting, strong governance and efficient accounting processes across the Group.

We are looking for someone who combines solid technical expertise with a genuine interest in leadership, team development and continuous improvement.

In this role, you will contribute to building a modern, efficient and business-oriented finance function that supports Scandinavian Cosmetics' continued growth and development across the Nordics.

You'll be responsible for:

Financial Reporting & Governance

• Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes across our Nordic entities.

• Ensuring high-quality financial reporting that is accurate, timely and compliant with relevant regulations.

• Managing the Group consolidation process and the preparation of consolidated financial statements.

• Safeguarding compliance with IFRS and local accounting requirements across the Nordic markets.

• Acting as the main point of contact for external auditors and coordinating the annual audit process.

• Continuously improving accounting policies, reporting standards and internal controls to support a growing business.

Cash Flow & Business Insights

• Owning the Group's cash flow reporting and liquidity forecasting processes.

• Monitoring working capital development and key balance sheet areas.

• Analysing currency movements and evaluating their impact on the business.

• Developing meaningful KPIs and financial insights that support decision-making.

• Providing analysis, recommendations and support to the CFO and Executive Management Team.

Leading People & Driving Development

• Leading, coaching and supporting an experienced accounting team across the Nordics.

• Building strong collaboration and knowledge-sharing across countries and functions.

• Challenging existing ways of working and identifying opportunities to simplify, automate and improve processes.

• Driving digitalisation initiatives that increase efficiency, quality and transparency.

• Supporting business transformation and helping shape the future of the finance function.

• Creating an environment where people take ownership, grow professionally and enjoy working together toward common goals.

WHO YOU ARE

You are an experienced finance leader with a strong accounting background, solid analytical skills and a broad business perspective. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy driving change and continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and collaboration.

As a trusted and transparent leader, you combine strategic thinking with a hands-on approach and communicate complex financial matters in a clear and actionable way.

You are equally comfortable discussing strategic priorities with senior management as you are being involved in operational accounting matters when needed.

We believe you bring:

• A university degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.

• 8-10 years of progressive experience within accounting, financial reporting or group finance.

• Previous leadership experience with responsibility for managing and developing teams.

• Experience from a multinational or Nordic group structure.

• Extensive knowledge of group consolidation and statutory reporting.

• Solid IFRS knowledge.

• Strong understanding of cash flow, liquidity management and balance sheet analysis.

• Experience driving finance process improvements and digitalisation initiatives.

• Advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of ERP systems and reporting tools.

• Fluent communication skills in English and preferably one Scandinavian language.
