We are looking for an Accountant to join our team at our Copenhagen office!

In this role, you will have overall responsibility for accounts payable and payroll for Scandinavian Cosmetics Denmark ApS. You will work closely with our accounting team based in Malmö and report directly to the Group Accounting Manager.

Your primary workplace will be our Copenhagen office, with one working day per week at our head office in Malmö.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance. Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing accounts payable, VAT reporting, general ledger entries, payments and bank reconciliations

• Processing payroll and ensuring compliance with state tax regulations

• Acting as administrator for Mastercard and handling employee outlays

• Assisting with monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings

• Preparing the annual report and tax return

• Maintaining contact with Danish authorities

• Ensuring compliance with local tax laws, accounting standards and internal policies

• Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external auditors to support audits and reporting

WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a candidate with a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting. A degree in accounting is an advantage, but relevant experience from a similar role is more important than formal education.

Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with Business Central, ExFlow, and Danlön is an advantage

• Strong Excel skills and solid knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite

• Fluent in Danish and English, both written and spoken

• Comfortable working independently, meeting deadlines, and collaborating across locations

You are proactive, structured, and have strong follow-through capacity. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take ownership of your work and communicate clearly and professionally.
